John Flanagan is back with another amazing Ranger's Apprentice book and this time it's better than the first. The 276 pages in this book will be enjoyed by anyone that is within the age range and maybe even older. Will is still trying to find the wargals and see how they're going to attack. This time the wargals are going to Celtica. Will and Halt need to go back to castle Araluen because while exploring to find the wargals, Halt got hurt. Once they returned to Castle Araluen, they got someone else to go to Celtica with them.
When they got to Celtica they noticed that no one was there. They figured that the Wargals had already been there before them. On their way to Celtica, they found someone that was in need of help. This person was called Evenlyn. She was a princess but the Wargals made her lose the castle. After exploring a little more, they found the base that the wargals were using, but this time they had Skandians on their side. The Skandians are basically war gods. They know almost everything about war and they have amazing strategies. Will and Evenlyn have to burn a bridge to stop the Wargals and Skandians from advancing and getting to their castle quicker. Will they be able to burn the bridge in time? Will they get back to Castle Araluen safely? Find out in this amazing book.

The first book is The Ruins of Gorlan, the third book is The Icebound Land, the fourth book is The Battle of Skandia and the fifth book is The Sorcerer in the North.
