The Dragons Eye is all about dragons, it is a adventure novel.This is the first book in the series of "The Dragonolgy Chronicles."
The characters of The Dragons Eye are Daniel, Beatrice, Billy, Alicia, Dr Ernest Drake, Darcy.
Daniel is the main character of the book, he is 12 years old, he has a big sister called Beatrice who joins him on his adventures. Another person you learn about as a reader is there fathers friend, Dr Ernest Drake he is the one in the book that teach's the children about dragon's.
The main part of the book revolves around Daniel, Beatrice, Dr Ernest Drake and some friendly dragons trying to find the dragon's eye gem before their enemy Ignatius Cook finds it. One of the friendly dragons and one of my favourites is called Weasel.
This book is set in the year 1882. The start of the book is set in London but then later when Daniel and Beatrice go to live with Dr Ernest Drake it is set in the forest.
The Dragons Eye would be really good for a person who loves dragon books or just someone who likes adventure and fantasy books.
The Dragons Eye has a mix of illustrations and writing styles, The illustrations can help the reader to understand what is happening alot easier.
