The Case of the Disappearing Detective

By Anthony Read

ISBN  1844289613

(Ages 9-15) Recommended For Mystery Lovers

The Case of the Disappearing Detective is a great book with an interesting mystery. Its an old London story with very Old London slang words some that are hard to say and explain.  This book is old fashion with a famous detective Sherlock Holmes. The case of the Disappearing detective is a great fun mystery book with twist and turn all though out the Book.

The case of the disappearing detective is about Sherlock Holmes and the backer street boys wich
Will have a twist when you read who's in it. Sherlock sends the Backer street boys on a mission following a sworn enemy Mr M. Sherlock always stays in touch but when Wiggins went to talk to him he has Disappeared.

141 pages of pure mystery makes this book one to die for I say if you have trouble reading small size text it will be hard to read  for you. Even though the cover is dark and mysterious it shows you that the book is about the olden day with a dark fog. The blurb is detailed with the most beautiful summery.

Sherlock is missing. Was Mr  M behind it or did he wonder off without telling anyone read this amazing book to find out.

I recommend this book for mystery loves who love a good read, if you or someone your recommending a book to who is just getting in to novels I wouldn't read this book because there are really hard words that are hard to understand. Bigger kids this is a great book if you want a challenge to improve your reading
